Useless Insurance Company

Good Day, I realized why over 50% of South Africans have no insurance, it is simply because the insurance companies forget to service the customers which are the people paying the premiums and only focus on profit, I mean you pay insurance for in case of the accident after all but once you submit a claim they either try to con you nor increase your premiums by over 50%. I had a claim last year November when I found my vehicle damaged, reported the case and the insurer requested I forward a quote which I did for R24k, claim was approved and was waiting to get money for the excess, got the money later and that time it was Dec and Panel beater closed. Then decided to fix the car with my panel beater and paid Half the amount quoted, that's when my problems started, instead of paying they accuse me of using my own panel beater, they wanted a receipt which I gave the together with an invoices, then they said they will send assessor again which they did however they still refuse to pay my claim.
