Please cancel my policy with immediate effect. I will also cancel my normal insurance for this is with Constantia insurance.

As the person rushed to the hospital to get treatment for my infant daughter, I was under the impression between my health insurance and gap cover I do not need to pay any extra cost. At that moment I felt ok. After a week of receiving 2 different account to be settled I submitted it to GAP cover. After 10 working days I was informed with the whole of Stratum personnel (POPI ACT???) that my claim was rejected. Even indicated I can later take it with the ombudsman. My brokers from Ladybrand came in the scenario and assist with the claim because I understand the process incorrectly and was suppose the submit the claim under casualties (What I apparently pay for). After another 10 working days, the claim was rejected again reason for the code used by the Paediatrician account is incorrectly and no confirmation can be used to identified if this was an accident or not. So as a person of the public and no knowledge of medical codes and hospital code and casualties codes and all the different criteria it was rejected for will now know to ask the hospital and casualties and Paediatrician’s to please us all the different codes to insure my gap cover and medical cover will never have to lift a finger to complete a successful claim.
