PRIME MERIDIAN DIRECT & CONSTANTIA INSURANCE COMPANY (LTD) AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE OR ATLEAST PREPARE TO PART WITH HARD EARNED MONEY.(unless you die within the required timeline WHICH NOW HAS EXPIRED)

In summary: We took out a policy (online) with Prime Meridian Direct the Prime Living Covergrow Individual on the 8th April 2016.To date we have paid 47 monthly installments R 23,453.00 -always in advance and on time. Total accumulate death benefit R 784,900.00. We previously Sept-Oct 2019 contacted PMD (Prime Meridian Direct) to see if we could take out additional policies.(Thank God we did not) We where then already advised that polocies where under review and we would be notified / contacted in due course. THIS NEVER MATERIALISED. First SMS (You could have at least spent some of the money we have spent sending an e-mail) In February 2020 we recived a sms to the effect that the current policy would be cancelled due change of 'internal issues' with Constantia Insurance Limited (or some other issue) but 'THERE IS NO NEED FOR CONCERN ALL WILL BE EXPLAINED.Policy to be terminated 31 March 2020.So glad YOU put that conforting though out there.Would hate to have recieved the 'Please be concerned sms. It would have been less of slap in the face had the sms just read.Thanks for your premiums over the last few years - sorry you didnt claim, or die, however we not a legal / compliant entity anymore so we keeping you monies paid and best you go look for a new policy.If you feel like it try and contact us, we too will give you a run around, enough to **** you off and hopefull get rid of you.And to QUOTE a consultant ' do you know that we had to pay out for all those who claimed hence we cannot pay you out.***. I have yet to deal with two entities, including the call centre operators,that have absolutely no updated product knowledge or non product ,compassion, interest in assisting a person who has entrusted a portion of their hard earned money to make a difference in the lives of others.Total disgrace. 2nd Email was to notify of an email sent -Herewith the email.

This means that as of the 1st of April 2020, you will no longer enjoy any cover under your Prime CoverGrow policy.We will, however,honour our commitments to you and fulfil our obligationsin respect ofall valid claims incurred up to 31 March 2020.Constantia Insurance Company Limited as a non-life insurer cannot offer a similar policy as an alternative.

I for one will never do business with either of these two entities ever again. I have lost some money. I will be able to survive. NOW TO ALL THE OTHER PEOPLE THAT HAVE BEEN ON YOUR LITTLE JOURNEY. Staff members advised to take out an affordable insurance life policy.They are the ones left in the **** again by businesses like yourselves.People who invested R499 a month (thats groceries for a week) to be left yet again destitute. You could have and should have had alternatives in place.Tihs is disgraceful.
