Most shocking service ever experienced

My business partner and I approached Consolidated Auction Group to auction stock of a retail store we closed. In correspondence with Mr Da Silva he indicated that we must expect a sale price of approximately R30 000 for stock with a wholesale value of R250 000. We appreciated the challenges with the selling of the particular items we wanted to sell but DID NOT EXPECT that the goods will be sold for a ridiculous R6 000. What is worse, is that following the auction we have attempted several times to ascertain why this amount was accepted without as much as a consultation. Also, since the auction we have had NO FURTHER communication nor payment despite regular phone calls and e-mail correspondence about this. Whatever you do, approach any other auction company. Do not be fooled by the professional looking website or the compliments on their website. As we have had no response we are laying a charge with the commercial crimes unit of the SA Police Service as we now consider this as theft.
