Double standards

<p>Three weeks ago I was at the Consol store in Woodmead. The clearance stands outside had lovely bottles but no lids were available in store. I managed finding lids at another store and contacted Consol the next day to request that they keep 5 dozen of these bottles for me. The gentleman bluntly refused stating it wasn't within their policy to hold stock for people. Even after explaining that I would be coming from Germiston, he still refused. The next day when I went to the shop, they had no stock and after expressing my disappointment, the sales lady asked me why didn't I call them and ask for the stock to be kept aside. Clearly this annoyed me further as I had requested that. Surely, the company should have 1 policy and no a lucky draw for whichever salesperson answers a customers call.</p>
