Stainbank Nature Reserve Early Closure does not make sense at all!

Customer care To whom it may concern Cape Vidal The last time I communicated with your department, the chairperson of the customer care department was going to investigate my concerns and get back to me. 6 months have transpired, and I have received no reply to the appalling conditions me and my family experienced at Cape Vidal. I am not sure if my next complaint will fall on deaf ears again. Stainbank Nature Reserve I visit the conservation site on a regular basis. What baffles me is why the conservation site closes at 3pm every day. Tourism is taking a severe knock because of the pandemic. Tourism companies are appealing to the government to open for longer hours to encourage business. The Stainbank nature reserve opens at 6am and closes at 3pm daily. Most people are at work or at school during this time. Except for the weekends, it is impossible for tourism to thrive under these restrictive times. What was the rationale behind this decision? The nature reserve is not like busy shopping malls that allow thousands of people, yet the malls are open until late. The nature reserve has hectares of space to practice social distancing. Unlike corporate tourism, if you do not work, you do not get paid. Government departments take the liberty to close early, therefore not generating any income and doing a disservice to the public.
