Shocking service
<p>These guys were contracted to do some minor rennovations (laminate flooring, install gas and build a 4 sqm (approx) TV supporting wall. They appeared to be a reputble company, however......</p> <p> </p> <p>They asked for an 80% deposit?!??! We finally agreed on a 50% (approx) deposit and progress payments thereafter.</p> <p> </p> <p>They fitted laminate floors (edging still not completed), they chased a gas pipe (tiles still not replaced) and installed gas (valves and regulator still aoustanding).</p> <p> </p> <p>The work was contracted to be completed by end June 2016. It is now 2 Sept, and the house is still an unfinished mess.</p> <p> </p> <p>They mostly dont answer calls, and when I do get hold of them they keep promising to sort it out, but it's starting to become clear that their commitment to address this professionally is seriously lacking. It appears that retaining only the value of outstanding work is insufficient incentive for them to complete the work!</p> <p> </p> <p>I would suggest thinking very carefully before using these guys, and to walk away from a deal with them that involves a deposit of more than around 20%.</p>
