Watch out for Connect Financial Solutions

In 2019 I bought couches and a Unit from Russell's promenade and not long after that my unit started falling apart. When I first got in contact with connect Financial they told me the insurance won't cover and I was not happy about that at all. I contacted them again and they told me they will fix it. When the guys fetched the unit they let if fall Infront of my house and when I called the warehouse they told me they cannot fix it due to the state of the unit. I asked them to look at the unit and then look at the pictures that was taken and the lady told me she can see it fell. I made the claim in August 2020. I was paying the account via debit order every month. In January 2021 I saw realized that they no longer taking the debit order and assumed I am done with Russell's. I app**** for a home loan and was told it was declined based on a written off notice for Connect financial.

I contacted them today and they advise me that it's in arrears and handed over as they called and sent sms's to no avail. My number and email is still they same as to what they have on the system. Now they telling me I owe R11 000. No one told me it was stopped or why. No one can give me answers as to why this happened. I spoketo Patricia and all she said was' SORRY'. So basically my debit order was stopped because I complained about my unit. This is ridiculous and I will never purchase anything from them again. This just doesn't make sense as Soraya from the promenade store still contacted me last year to advise I have credit of R17000. This service is appalling and I am disgusted.
