Never Take Credit from Connect Financial Solutions!!

On the 14th of March I asked this company to provide me with a settlement letter for a settlement date of 24/3/23 because you can’t just ask for a settlement letter because they calculate interest “daily”. The letter was issued for settlement on the 31/3/23 (extra interest days for them!) instead. I made payment on 24/3 to their FNB acc, I sent the PoP the same day and the following day received a response that payment will be allocated in 48 working hours, I questioned this because it was from FNB to FNB, I was told it’s a business acc. not a personal acc, I contacted my banker & was told irrespective of the account type, FNB to FNB clears in 12 hours, I then asked for the banker to please clear the payment immediately if for some reason it didn’t already and it was subsequently confirmed that the payment had indeed cleared already on the morning of the 25/3, I told Connect FS this and still NO response. I can only think that they want to drag it out so their set debit can still go through and increase their investment income with interest earnings & I’ll probably wait 6 months for my refund. I’m disgusted by their service because this is the 2nd time I’m being done in by this fly by night “business”!
