Adjust interest

I have returned the Sansui TV I purchased back to the store. I was told today that the manufacturer does not make the TV anymore and I must take another TV. I don't want another TV.

So I called in to ask my original loan amount or outstanding balance to be adjusted to show that the TV is no longer part of the purchase as it is returned. JD told me to call the store. I then spoke to the manager at Incredible Connection Centurion. She agreed and said I must come to the store and they will load the R5500 on a gift card to pay my account.

I don't think that's fair as it does not account for the interest charged. I need correct adjustments to be made to account for the original purchase price of the TV and the interest charged. If R5500 is paid, it does not reduce the overall interest that will still be charged on the original loan amount so this is not right.
