Avoid Conlee Developments – 2 Years Later and Still Locked Out of My Own Home

I would like to share my extremely frustrating and painful experience with Conlee Developments and their agent, Lucky Kheswa, in the hope of warning others before they go through what I have endured.

In October 2022, I purchased a property through Conlee Developments in Zonkezizwe Ext 2. Despite the full transfer being completed and the title deed registered in my name, I have never received access to the property. I have not been given the keys, and to this day, ******** occupants remain in the house I legally own.

For over two years, Conlee repeatedly assured me they were handling the situation. These were nothing more than empty promises. No action was taken. I was constantly passed around and misled, while I continued paying a bond on a house I could not live in, forcing me to also pay rent elsewhere. This has caused me severe financial and emotional stress.

I had to escalate the matter to the Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority (PPRA) and seek legal eviction myself—something the agent and the agency should have addressed before handing over the property.

Conlee Developments has failed me completely—from false reassurances to neglect of professional responsibility. There has been zero accountability or support, despite my polite persistence and legal ownership.

I urge anyone considering using Conlee Developments to think twice. Do not be fooled by friendly conversations or promises. Their lack of delivery, follow-up, and duty of care has cost me years of stress, legal effort, and financial strain.
