Condere TV Draws a Blank

A Condere TV, model 32V08, was purchased from Takealot on 2025-06-20. In January 2026, under seven months after purchase, the screen started going blank witnin a period ranging from a few seconds to a few minutes. The warranty period stated in the user manual is 12 months but as Takealot offer a limited 6 month warranty, it could not be returned via that channel. Contacting Condere via email elicited no response, and their phone line simply cut off. Lessons? Choose electronics from reputable brands and source from retailers which, unlike Takealot, honour the manufacturers' warranties.
