Concorde Cars

On the 26th of February 2021 a purchase a motorvehicle from Concorde Cars. From the start it has been a struggle to get everything done. As per their advert the car had a full service history etc. Since the 26th of February I have been struggling to get the service book with service history from them. I cannot take out a engine warranty due to the fact that I don't have the service book. Everytime I enquire about the service book they have a story, they apparently now ordered a new service book from Tavcor/Volkswagen and they will then add the services as per Tavcor / Volkswagen's records into the new service book. Still waiting this problem to be solved. Who would be liable if something happens to the car and I couldnt take out a engine warranty due to their negligence to provide me with the service book with the full service history.

Hi Arno,
Trust you are well.

The previous owner did not hand in the service book or spare-key as he promised but I did get you the full service history from Volkswagen and DCS, who serviced the vehicle before you took delivery. We also paid for the spare-key as you know.
Sean from Innovation Warranties has tried to call and email you with regards to selling you a warranty. He also has all the service history and there is no issue with implementing a warranty for you. Please let me know if you would like his contact details.
I have called Barons again today for the estimated timeframe for the new service book and they explained they are expecting them sometime next month. I have WhatsApped you all this info but happy to communicate here if you wish.
Warm regards,
