NOISE AT PAARL ROCK CONRADIE PARK
I stay by Paarl Rock, there is a prosthetics hospital right next door which makes a compressor noise from 6h45 to about 16h30 daily every weekdays. NOISE! Drives me nuts and I WFH most days, spoke to renting agent, says she has never heard of it, reported to CoCT, they know about it but no action. Beware CONCOR!

Based on your review, it appears that the noise is not being induced by Concor but rather from a neighboring property. Is that correct? I will however share this information with my colleagues at Conradie Park to see if they might be able to assist in any way.

08 Apr 2025, 16:32The CoCT says you were told of this before construction but proceeded to build anyway, now we tenants, who are not told before signing a lease, live with this daily noise. It is not news because I have asked neighbours and they say complaints fell on deaf ears.

I have followed up with our teams on site, and they have confirmed that the property in question is not owned or managed by Concor, nor are we carrying out any contract work there. Unfortunately, as this is beyond our control, we are unable to intervene directly.

We understand that the noise has been disruptive, and we acknowledge your concerns. However since this matter does not fall within Concor’s scope, we recommend that you raise it directly with the establishment or lodge a formal complaint with the City of Cape Town via the appropriate channels.
