CONCO Group "BEE/Transformation" **** of small Black businesses

In November 2017, Indonsi Investments (Pty) Ltd MD Enock Zikalala approached Nomsa Mlotshwa about a business opportunity that CONCO had identified and set aside as a BEE and Transformation project to enable small black companies to tap into the logistics industry. CONCO's specification was very clear; they expected brand new Toyota Hilux's for this identified project. With a contract signed, I then bought a Toyota Van, to their specification in order to access this opportunity. The vehicle was then delivered to CONCO in January 2018. The biggest mistake of my life. Within months of the project having commenced, payments started being delayed, this was addressed with Indonsi Investments and CONCO, and some of these payments were eventually made. In 2019 only ONE payment was received from CONCO, the rest of the 11 months (with the vehicle in their full possession), no payment was received, yet I had to service the monthly installment. I followed up on this issue month after month, and all kinds of excuses were made, including Indonsi, through CONCO, informing me that the vehicle would only be paid for when being utilized which was not the initial arrangement. This made absolutely no sense because not only was CONCO going back on a signed contract and agreement, this is a vehicle that I continued to pay monthly installments for, a vehicle that was sitting with CONCO and I have no access to. In December 2019 I requested that my vehicle be returned URGENTLY, whilst all outstanding monies were being processed. I am still yet to receive the vehicle or ANY payment from CONCO, yet I continue to pay for the bank the monthly installment! On 7 February 2020, I sent an email to Bheki Sibisi from CONCO yet again requesting that the vehicle be immediately returned, we were told (through Indonsi Investments) that the vehicle was being utilized for at a project until July 2020 – yet still no payment was forthcoming. On 31 March 2020, I sent a formal letter to Johnny Dladla, CONCO's Chief Executive Officer, and copied Indonsi Investments requesting the CEO's intervention with the hopes that he would address this matter urgently and rectify how I have been abused by CONCO, and possibly other small businesses as well. Enock Zikalala of Indonsi Investments responded, informing us not to contact CONCO directly, but made no mention of returning our vehicle and the monies owed to us. I have not received a response from CONCO’s Chief Executive Officer or his staff, yet they continue to utilize my car and not pay for it. As at March 2020, CONCO owed me R201 882.40 in outstanding monies for my vehicle that they have been utilizing as when they wish since January 2018. The outcome I am fighting for is for CONCO to: 1. Pay me the outstanding monies and return my vehicle OR 2. Pay me the outstanding monies and for the contract to continue for the agreed 5 years with monthly payments being made as per the agreement I know Carte Blanche has exposed many companies and individuals for similar ***** and abuse. Your assistance in investigating and exposing CONCO would be greatly appreciated and would bring me great financial relief. All attempts to resolve this matter have been stonewalled by Indonsi Investments and CONCO.
