Bad attitude

After walking in to purchase some antiques, I accidentally bumped a decorative item off of a chair. It broke and it appeared to be made out of plaster. When I took it to the owner to purchase it, he claimed it was from the 1940’s and belonged as a pair and that it would cost me R1950. He was incredibly rude and dismissive even though I was extremely apologetic and willing to purchase it until I felt like he was completely taking advantage of the situation. My most expensive shopping trip ever and I didn’t even purchase anything that I wanted. I will NEVER recommend anyone purchasing anything from here in future.
