Astrum Tablet

Purchased an Astrum 7 inch Tablet in May/June. The wrong one was sent, but we kept it because my son is at University and needed it urgently. He discovered that when he wanted to charge it, you had to put the charger in at an angle for it to work, which resulted after a few times of doing that, the usb port broke. We sent it off and they repaired it. When we received it back, the OTG cable didn't work and there was no data connection to the computer. I then emailed them and was told that the tablet was no longer under warranty as it had been damaged. When I enquired about the otg and data connection, the reply was \If you damage the port and short out pins it can damage the electronics. They only change the connector. They di dnot change any electronics."They also told me that to repair this would cost more than the tablet. I paid R2000 for this tablet in June and<br> they are not at all interested in finding a solution and very unhelpful. How can you send something away to be repaired and it come back with 2 other things not working that were working before?"""
