Unhelpful & Insensitive

Today I decided to collect tickets that my wife purchased a few weeks ago, for a show the next day. She was unable to collect them herself, because she is 33 weeks pregnant and was booked on bed rest due to complications we had the previous week. We were going to give these tickets to family members as we couldn’t attend the show, because of the problems we had.

As I was trying to collect the tickets, with “her” ID card and the debit card that she used, Computicket was unwilling to help. They insisted that my wife must be present to collect the tickets herself. As I pleaded and told them that I’m collecting the tickets on her behalf and explained why she couldn’t be present; the Computicket consultant was not sympathetic and kept on telling me that there are no third-party collections (even under my situation).

I felt great frustration, and anger as it was hard to believe that there is a company so insensitive that it wants a pregnant woman, in pain and discomfort, to stand in long queues to simply collect tickets (that have already been purchased). It greatly upsets me that I’m forced to use Computicket to purchase tickets for events and shows that we want to see.

Computicket's collection process needs to be reviewed, and its staff need to learn how to treat its customers better. I’m highly disappointed with the service, and this company.
