Unacceptable Disorganisation!
We booked four tickets for the John Legend concert which was on 07th November 2017 at the Moses Mabhida Stadium, Durban. Each ticket was R 855-00 each. So we paid in excess of R 3'400-00 for tickets.
These tickets were for field seating, which is just behind Golden Circle in front of the stage. Upon arrival there, we see that there are plenty of Ushers to escort people to their seats. They served ABSOLUTELY NO PURPOSE, because there was an utter state of CONFUSION. The seats (which had PAPER NUMBERS) stuck on them were all MISNUMBERED. It literally went from 1 to 13, then back to 2 then 15! The Ushers were then debating amongst themselves as to what was going on and then began arguing with each other as to which side of the rows number 1 even started at. People ended up sitting ANYWHERE and EVERYWHERE, despite selecting and paying for SPECIFIC SEATS.
What exacerbated issues is that it was raining and people were being asked to wake up and move, several times.
This was highly unacceptable, given an event and concert of this magnitude. The evening commenced on a bad note and set the tone for the rest of the evening.
There are really no words that could suffice to express our utter disappointment and disgust at the lack of co-ordination! It was really JUST ONE BIG MESS!
I really do hope that this issue is addressed. We have attended many other concerts with international artists and this is the first time that we have experienced such ********** organisation!
