The shocking response from Computicket
Hi there,
I would just like to complain about Computicket regarding the Peppa *** show that was held at the CTICC between the 6th-8th. They announced a competition and kept saying the winners would be announced on the 3rd of April, but when I checked throughout the entire day, no winners/posts were made. Other people were also asking and all they ever said was that they were gonna announce winners on the 3rd. I checked now and winners have STILL not been announced and the show is already finished. I decided to send them a message on the 5th asking who the winners were and to voice my opinion. Their response was immature and so unprofessional and I am completely disappoint in how things were arranged and promised from their side.
This was the Facebook conversation:
Me: Who were the Peppa *** ticket winners? I looked on your page the whole day on Tuesday and didn't see it.
Computicket: Hello! We do apologize for the delay. Winners will be announced soon.
Me: I don't wanna be one of those customers who complain, I'm usually not like that, but I'm a little disappointed in how the competition was set. In my opinion, it should've been set at least a month before the time as there are people out there in hope of winning the tickets and haven't gone to buy them yet. Yesterday, out of curiosity I went to look how many tickets are left and there aren't that many especially for the times that people would prefer to go. I was wanting to go at 10 on Saturday and I can only afford the R199 tickets, but there weren't any seats left. I think, my point in this is that people may have already went and bought tickets because this competition was too last minute. Now for those who already have their tickets and end up winning, they're going to have 4 extras and not know what to do with them.
Computicket: How were you able to see how many tickets are left? Only our management is able to do that. (Which is complete nonsense 'cause you can view availability on their own site!)
Me: I went to Checkers and they showed me the available seats that were left. I bought my tickets, because I couldn't wait any longer.
Computicket: ? (Thumbs up)
A thumbs up - absolutely childish and unprofessional.
And just to get another idea of the situation, here is the message I sent with a rating of 1 star: "I am absolutely DISGUSTED in your services. Whoever deals with the Facebook messages is really unprofessional and childish. Firstly, I asked when the winners will be announced and got told it would be the 3rd of April. Then when looking the whole day on the page for the winners, then seeing it wasn't posted, I decided to message them making a complaint regarding the Peppa *** competition and made a suggestion/opinion and the response was almost like a 15-year-old getting offended and playing "defense mode" instead of apologizing and dealing with the complaint. The winners were NEVER announced and I'm pretty sure there are some people who are upset, who didn't buy their tickets in the time period that the winners were meant to be posted, in hope of winning and maybe even lost out on getting a spot. I waited for the winners and when I saw they weren't posted, I went to go buy my tickets. I could only afford the R199 tickets and LUCKILY there was an extra show, otherwise everything else was fully booked. I am super disappointed in the way everything was handled as I support Computicket every year, buying tickets for shows. I really hope you sort out whoever is behind the Facebook messenger, because they are making your company look like unprofessional trash!"
Kind Regards Sydney
