Refund for the cost incured for the show Worship Experience

I booked a ticket for the show which was in JHB picked up the ticket on the day of the show having book the flight no notification was shared with me that that show has been cancelled. I claimed for them to pay me back my flight and uber as I went to the venue with no show. Now they are refusing and I wouldn't have gone if I knew the show was cancelled.
