Non-negotioble refund

Each and every year an event called the DSTV Mitchell's Plain festival is hosted in Mitchell's Plain.

Last year I pre-booked tickets for the event at Checkers in Westgate mall. The tickets are supp**** by Computicket.

The event was too full so we were not allowed in, we were told by one of the promoters that we will get refunded. I went to checkers to exchange the tickets I was told that I need to come on a later date as the event is still on.

Shoprite gave me the run around as well. I eventually contacted Computicket, I had to follow up to get any feedback from them. I have emailed them since last year only to be told today that I cannot get a refund as the promoters has been paid already. No empathy, no apologies just a you must accept the fact statement.

Now I am sitting with tickets of an event I could not even attend, due to the promoters not allowing anyone in.

I am disappointed in Checkers/Shoprite as well Computicket, talk about shabby services.
