Name and shame Computicket Head Office and Shoprite Services.
On the 21st December 2019, i went to a shoprite computicket in Maseru Lesotho to redeem my tickets bought online for LETOFE event in Thaba Bosiu which took place on the same date. During tickets printing process, the printer got broken. Only one ticket was printed successfully while the second tickets was printed incompletely.
We patiently waited and gave the Shoprite staff including their management time to resolve the problem. We even suggested that they seek help from computicket. We waited for about four to five hours without any help whatsoever. We were desperate, frustrated, because we had purchased tickets on time to the total value of R660 (2× Golden Circle), but Shoprite computicket couldn't issue tickets and they couldn't cancel them or even make refund. We did not understand how a broken printer could be our problem.
We were compelled to buy another set of tickets at the high price of R800 ( 2X Golden Circle), so that atleast we can attend the show, as we had travelled specifically from South Africa to Lesotho for that festival.
We feel that we were undermined and treated unfairly by Shoprite Maseru computicket (including their management) together with computicket head office personnel. We needed to be compensated within 24 hours on receipt of our email sent on the 27 December 2019, the following: 1. For our time wasted, as the show had started long; 2. Refund ( latest tickets value); and 3. Poor and unprofessional service.
Still today, on the 14 February 2020, we are still been taken from Pillar to post. Your intervention will be highly appreciated.
