Computicket - the mismanagement of ticket sales for Federer charity match

I have been one of lucky ones to have been able to purchase 3 tickets at R4500 for the Match In Africa...until I tried to get my tickets. After purchasing tickets online I received a very amateurish confirmation by e-mail that my booking is confirmed. Then I dashed off the a Comouticket outlet to collect my tickets as I usually do- just to be told that they can issue nothing and I have to wait till 24 Jab 2020 for my tickets.

I then sent an e-mail to Computicket to receive an answer from Edna Moyo at Computicket (***) stating "Please note that tickets can only be collected from the 24 January 2020 by visiting any Computicket outlets including Shoprite, Checkers or Checkers Hyper and all House and Home stores countrywide with the credit card used during the booking process as well as your I.D, please note that only the cardholder is able to collect the tickets as we do not allow third-party collection

Please note that as per the promoter’s request the above-mentioned event does not have a print at home option.

The receipts can be collected at any Computicket outlets including Shoprite, Checkers or Checkers Hyper and all House and Home stores countrywide"

So off I went to a different Computicket to get my official printed receipt...to be told that Computicket has **** to me as they cannot issue an official receipt.

Computicket has handled ticked sales in a very clandistine and deceiptful manner misleading the public in every way. They even blatantly lie in the -mail I have received. I have raised the issue with the Federer Foundation.

I understand that tickets may be resold on the black market at a profit, but at least ne honest with the public upfront and don't lie to us
