I was ****med after buying a flight ticket online, when I got to the airport, there was no record of my booking anywhere. I paid a whole R7,000, gone just like that. The embarrassment and frustration were unbearable. I even went to Checkers to get help, and a lady tried calling on my behalf, but after an entire hour on the phone, no one answered not a single consultant. It’s shocking that companies like Checkers and Shoprite continue partnering with such *****ulent platforms. There are hundreds of complaints online — over 500 people with the same experience — and still, nothing is done no refunds nothing. How many South Africans must lose their hard-earned money before action is taken? This is not just theft; it’s exploitation of ordinary citizens who are already struggling. It’s time government steps in and shuts these ****s down. We can’t keep being ****** in broad daylight while corporate giants and regulators look the other way.
