Alert on incorrect booking information received from Computicket

I successfully booked a return flight from Cape Town to Jhb via Computicket. However when I attempted to confirm my flight and seat prior to flying, the reference number provided did not exist. On checking this Mango guest services informed the outward bound flight had been cancelled by a 'Smit' at a Shoprite Checkers outlet, but my return flight remained valid. The full amount had been deducted from my credit card and there was no recorded reimbur*****t. I had to purchase another ticket and to request a refund. When I attempted this Computicket reported I had not turned up for my flight. This story changed later to the admission of my receiving incorrect information, they don't know how it happened but the onus was on me to notice this and contact them! HOW? The times and dates of my flights were correct but the outward bound they now report was with another airline, yet all documentation received referred to Mango for both flights. Computicket have offered R87, 29 for this debacle, as it was a non-refundable ticket therefore my bank cannot cancel the transaction so I have paid for the same flight twice! What I've learned, is that this is the first and last time I will use Computicket, and use more reliable sites such as Travelstart or Flightsite.
