Worst ever customer service!

Wanting to sell our shares and reading and following the online instructions, we decided to visit the office in Johannesburg in person to facilitiate a speedy process. Here we were assisted by Sam, a very confident and effecient lady and she assisted us with the reissue of our lost shares certificate and sorry to say, this is where all efficiency stopped. Our first visit was on the 2nd June 2016 with a follow up visit in person two weeks later and being assured all is in order as well as phoning a few times for us to be informed today that the correct process was not followed - we followed all instructions given - and that there will be an additional up to 21 days delay to sell these shares. We might be a small in share scale customer but the service is extremely poor and will definitely not see us again or be recommended by us. We now wait the process to be completed and then hopefully after being charged the mandotary fees have our money and move on from this poor experience - and this hopefully in the next 21 days.

You lodged the indemnity form for the replacement of your lost share certificate with us and, on 14 June 2016, we in turn forwarded it to Symphony Investor Communications (Pty) Ltd for processing of the insurance premium payable. A member of staff of Symphony has advised us that she is waiting for you to pay the insurance premium required to cover the replacement of your certificate. As soon as the premium has been paid, Symphony will arrange the insurance and return your application to us. Once we receive the form, we will replace your certificate, dematerialise your shares into Strate and you will be able to sell.

Kind regards
