Unable to update FICA information

Computershare changed their policy to payout dividends via eft and not cheques.
They requested all shareholders to update banking details to complete the eft transactions.
On 16 February 2015 we emailed them on [Email Removed] with the necessary documents. They rep**** on 18 February stating info is not correct, phone call center. We subsequently email an up to date, stamped bank statement on 5 March 2015. After which we were informed that the proof of address is now out of date. We subsequently emailed the updated certified proof on 19 May 2015 after we had to phone the call center to inquire as to the status of the verification. We received a reply to this email asking for the investor number on 20 May 2015 from Carmen Britz. On 18 June we emailed the number. We phoned the call center on 26 June 2015 once again to inquire about the status after no communication was received. We had to talk to Darren and his supervisor for 29 minutes without success. Apparently the email with the correct proof of address has gone missing and no one knows a Carmen Britz. The service and communication has be terrible! We wanted to sell share which have now lost value.

Hello jokejvv,

For security reasons, and in accordance with Strate Directives, we only make payments into bank accounts that are held in the name of the shareholder. As Darren and his supervisor tried to explain to you, the bank account submitted was in the name of a company and not that of the shareholder.

As soon as we receive details of the shareholder's bank account, we will be able to update our records and the shares can be sold.

Kind regards

Computershare
