I have some Sanlam which I have held for many years and dividends were always paid into my Nedbank current account. I am now living in the UK and decided to formally emigrate from South Africa. I need to close current account and open a 'blocked account' and I wished to sell my shares and have the proceeds paid into my 'blocked account' with my other assets awaiting exchange control approval. <br> Last August I posted a question on Computershare web site asking what I needed to do to accomplish this. I received an email from them quite promptly explaining that I needed to have my details updated for FICA and explain the requirements. I rep**** asking if I could have my bank send documents to them directly to save time, but received no reply. I sent the remaining documents by recorded delivery and in my covering letter I asked for confirmation of receipt. When I did not hear back I posted another question on their site asking on the current status and received a reply asking for the tracking number. I rep**** with the tracking number and heard nothing further. I checked with my bank if they had sent the documents I requested and they rep**** that the postal strike was delaying mail
