Is this company legit or a ****? Are they taking your money to invest for themselves and to gain interest before giving it to you?

I started communicating with this company on shares to be sold on 17 October 2017 via telephone to their call centre. Forms and instructions were sent to me on 20 October 2017. The email came from CS JHB ********** - I carried out all instructions, which included copying and certifying some documentation. As I do not have a printer I had to go to George in order to have the stuff first printed out, then filled in, by my 87-year-old mother, then certified, then scanned in and sent to them again. sending scanned copies of documentation to them on 30 October 2017. I also, as instructed, sent the documents to them via Speed services and phoned their offices to advise that it had been sent. The scanned documents could not be sent to the email address they provided, so I had to go to town again on 31 October to have it re-sent- this was on 31 October, the next day when the documentation was supposed to arrive there. When I asked their consultant what will happen and asked who I can talk to I found that there is NO PERSON available with whom I can discuss my Mother's portfolio! I also queried whether the documentation had been received as I was assured that it would arrive on the 31st October, but no-one could advise me of that either. I was however assured that Computershare would contact me immediately when the documentation is received, would then allocate an 'account' and take it further from there. To date I have NOT heard from them! Searching the net for reviews on Computershare I found that there are a LOT of complaints and that Computershare is even called a ****. I therefore contacted ***** Squad to investigate. This morning I managed to get hold of the Marshalltown Post Office and was advised that the documents had already been picked up on 31 October 2017, and was signed for on list number 41506 by Kenwin ID number ********** 143086. I sent thir another email (thisa text) and copied the corrspondance to ***** squad. Why has no-one come back to me on what is happening? What are you doing with my certificates? have you sold them and are you keeping the money or investing it first to gain interest for yourselves? what is happening here????

Your documents were collected from the Post Office on 31 October 2017 and were scanned into our workflow system on 1 November 2017. The process of opening your account was begun, the share certificate was sent for exchange and the new certificate was received today. However, as discussed in our telephone conversation, it is necessary that an account be opened in the name of your father since he was the registered holder of the shares.

The new share certificate will be sent for dematerialisation and, as soon as we receive the documentation, we will open your father’s estate account. The electronic shares will be recorded in that account and you will be able to proceed with the sale. Your mother’s share certificate has already been sent for dematerialisation.

Please do not hesitate to contact us should you need any further assistance.

Kind regards
