Computershare not knowing how to send statements to clients

The most basic thing one can ask for from a financial services company is a statement yet individuals in my family and I constantly have to struggle with you guys to get this information. My "favourite" example is when you guys sent a statement reflecting just the holdings and I asked for one reflecting the holdings and price so as to calculate the market value, and the reply from your one of your staff was "we don't supply prices, you need to get that from the JSE". Needless to say someone else had to help me to get the correct info. I can give more examples but will rather summarise what is needed in the points below:

1) Clients can only access statements online for the months of February and August 2) If they want a statement for another date they need to request it from the Computershare team 3) When sending the statement it needs to be on a Computershare letterhead, not just figures in an email 4) It also needs to show the client name, date, holdings and price (and market value if that's possible)

My request is to please train your staff about statements so for me not to wait up to 2 weeks to get this information. If all they know is the above then I'm sure this would help me and others in this situation. I am not trying to be difficult here but I just want to be able to request a statement without constantly having a back and forth to receive the correct information.

Regards

Thank you for your feedback.

FYI, my brother requested a statement on the 21st of June and has still not received it, even after a couple of follow up emails. What is the best way to escalate this to get this information?

Only a pleasure. You can email *** to escalate this. It will be logged and a team will follow up for you until it's resolved.
If you (or he) could include his name and account information when you send the email, that would be helpful.

Thank you.
