Absolute incompetence
I've been trying to sell my Telkom shares for close to 3 weeks now and after giving me the run around with regards my FICA documents, Computershare finally sent me an email on Friday (24/04) acknowledging that they have all my documents. I call them on today (28/04) to sell my shares and they have the audacity to proclaim that they are still waiting for documentation - this following their verification that none are outstanding. When I request an explanation they transfer me all over the place after which I then request to be taken through to the complaints department. The woman I spoke to is rude to me and worst of all she can't even help with resolving my query. The best she can do is tell me that she will send my query to the accounts department - the same jokers that could not help me to start off with mind you. <br> <br> I am so fed up with dealing with Computershare I just wanna exercise a complete sell on all my shares. I can't believe the level of incompetence that exists in this institution.

As discussed on the telephone, in accordance with the Companies Act, the name of the shareholder which appears on the company register must be the same as that on the identity document. The FICA verification documents you sent us did not match the name on the account and we needed to rectify that.
