To anybody looking for financial advise or assistance i would just like to share the horrible experience i have with Compucredit, located in Pretoria. A few months back i gave it a try and needless to say i was disgusted immediately after signing up. Not only do you not get informed of a service fee - they advertise themselves as a free service with no upfront fees. Thus, filling in an application form to seek out financial institutions and therefore require all your details. Received a sign up email that only then stated they will debit R359 service fee. I immediately cancelled and was assured no debit will be taken. Guess what.. i got debited. I queried and was asked to fill in a refund form. It states that refunds take place 7 working days after submission of this form. Its been two months since trying to get these people to co-operate. Their customer service person Vanessa Reddy blatantly IGNORES you. And ive called in as well as email them. Nobody gives a ****. Its ridiculous. Stay far away.
