My second review on the *******ness that goes on at Communicare rentals. In 2019 we app**** for premises that has been empty for more than 3 years. This building was supposed to serve the community of Bishop Lavis as a creche, but a certain church is renting a few rooms of this building from Communicare. we were ignored by Communicare for 2 years after applying for the premises. They kept on saying this building does not exist in Bishop Lavis, and this could not be true because we live opposite the building. I asked the pastor for the details of the person he is renting from and he refused to give the details. i then got hold of someone else at Communicare who assisted me with finding the correct location of the building (already ***** because this person does not work with the commercial side and she found the building very easy.) Then we did the application again with this Kara person the same one we app**** with in 2020 who couldn’t find the building. after 2 years of not finding the building she then emails me telling me she received the application but there’s now 2 other applications for the same building. Now tell me after not knowing about the building to we have two other applications while we now finally found the building details and did the application for it. This woman tells me "they “will review the applications and reverts soonest. bear in mind this building was built for the community as a creche i should know i attended the creche when i was a child. There's a pastor renting two classrooms in the building for +/- 10 years. The rest of the building is empty, he has use of the whole building but only rents 2 rooms. After a month this Kara woman calls me... all communication thus far was in writing, but this conversation was a telephone call where she says they have decided to the give the full premises to the current person renting (the church). Bear in mind my sister lives opposite this building and she has a creche at her house with plus minus 20 kids. she is unable to assist more of the community because of space, hence the application for a few rooms in the building that this church was not using for years. I have been emailing this Kara woman for 3 months asking her to put our conversation in writing but to no avail. does anybody else smell *******ion. How is Communicare assisting the community?
