Unreliable and false agreements

<p>My parents belong to Commed for over a year now. My dad has just been diagnosed with lymphoma and when he went for an emergency operation Nov 2016 medi clinic refuse to admit him until cash was paid upfront. Commed then made an agreement to pay them within 30days. Few days after the operation he was rushed back to hospital feeling extremely sick medi clinic gave us tge same story due to the fact that commed takes forever to pay. Commed then made an agreement once again written in black and white. Its been way over 30 days and no payments has been made at all. Today medi clinic called us and told us next time they get admitted to hospital they will have to pay cash upfront. Where on earth are we supposed to get that cash? How can commed make a written agreement and not pay within the 30days. My dad is now diagnosed with Cancer, if he or my mom is rushed to hospital where on earth do we get the cash from? What is the point of being on this medical aid then? I am extremely stressed after that phone call with medi clinic Kimberley. Commed made false promises and I am very much disappointed!</p>
