Changing a Gynae at 8 months

<p>i am currently having the worse assistance from the commed medical aid. before anything i do i call into to their customer service to gain authorisation for whatever i need to be done at the hospital. only to find months later bills are not paid, hospitals want to take me to the lawyers- when i called in to find out why my Lancet Lab invoice was not paid i was inicially told that i should send in the invoice and it will be paid out. which is what i did, a week later when i call i was told that the medical aid has rejected 63% of the invoice causing me, in the middle of January to pay R962.67 out of my own pocket. how would i have known if i didnt call, shouldnt have someone told me about the out come?</p> <p>the worst issue is that i was told to change my gynae at 8 months becasue i had to pay a R5000 levy for delivery, i was then only directed Netcare - i have to scramble for a gynae. Netcare is apparently the cheapest according to the medical aid to deliver in, but for every consultation i have to pay a Co-payment of R400( i thought netcare was the cheapest). i pay my medical aid monthly and with a baby on the way i have no leg room to spend. i will have to dig from my savings that were meant for my maternity leave.</p> <p>Commed has not assited me or made my life easier it has in fact added on the worries and stress.</p>
