Inadequate Security After the Event

I am one of the parents who felt comfortable allowing my daughter to go to the Colour Festival South Africa U18 party/ rave that was held at the ostrich farm last night. I was shocked when arriving to fetch my daughters and friends to discover that the organizers had felt and were of the opinion that their responsibility ito the kids security ended when the lights went off. The number of kids who were sitting in isolated area's outside the venue or walking on the sand/ side roads to get to the highway, was absolutely unbelievable. It was patently clear that this was not even deemed as bieng a security concern. In an attempt to address my issue with the organizers I discovered that they were nowhere to be found. Running of the function was shared between an assistant and the security company. Rudy, the even organizer could not be located on site physically, via radio and or telephone. Although I have had confidence and trust at this function previously, I feel that my trust (and that of other parents) has been abused and I quite frankly do not feel comfortable allowing my daughter to attend such future functions unless a greater emphasis is placed on security,
