Colmed are Sharks!

Colmed weren’t transparent!

I agreed to pay a hospital bill as it went to Colmed without me being chased by the hospital. Problem is Colmed charged 10% for every receipt, as well as sms, call and email fees and interest. All of which they didn’t tell me about!

So I start getting calls and sms 6 months after settling my final amount for all these extra fees totaling R388. I asked every time to send me information about fee charges for which I received nothing....until today.

Obviously they charged the maximum amount allowed by Council for Debt collection for every type of engagement, why wouldn’t you!

What option do I have? They have the power! Don’t pay and be blacklisted or pay and take this one on the chin?

I paid! as it was too exhausting answering all the calls and can’t afford to be blacklisted!
