College of Cape Town _ Please dont even try it

This school should actually cease to exist.

I am actually very mad at this college for calling themselves a distance college. I reside in Johannesburg where i first came across the college to study Early childhood Development. I was then sent registration forms to continue my studies with them. When i received the registration forms i quickly filled them in to start my studies. I wrote my external exams in Johannesburg which the college made provision for only to be told two weeks prior to my external exams that i am expected to write my exams in Cape Town, which was never communicated to me before registration.

This is unacceptable as the College presents itself as a distance college.

I have then missed my exams and forfeited a whole year of study because they failed to inform me prior to having my exams written. the college has now come back to say that this is my fault due to "my impossible circumstances"

This is not a distance college and pose like one. Mrs Bosman - Head of the ECD department continues to pin this on me and has not acknowledged that the college is at fault.

Honestly for anyone that wants to study distance with this college, PLEASE dont. they really do not treat themselves as an education faculty which should hold a responsibility to inform their students of anything that may arise which may affect them negatively.
