College of cape Town has no remorse

This is by far the worst experience u have received in my history of institutions.

I did a course at the Crawford campus from last year into this year. Firstly they had a story of not receiving my payments for 6 months and this news came out to me while I was on the verge of writing my exam. At this point I lost focus because of stressing that they want to kick me out of campus because of this, eventually I draw a statement and show them all my payments I made. I was extremely furious because of this and I decided to leave, I told them I don't want their services any longer and this was in February 2021. Today I get phone call from debt collectors saying my account was handed over and I owe them R4 300. Bearing in mind that this campus did not notify me in any way that I owe a balance for all these months, if they had to say that there's a balance, I would have covered that amount, but I don't think this was a fair way to go about things by just handing me over to attorneys.

Is there anyway that I can get assistance or advice on this case as I want to sort it out asap.
