Edgards account paid up letter

I have been handed to this company for my Edgards account, I have settled the account on the 2nd May after receiving a settlement letter from Janine Hendricks, days after I have paid I get an sms from another Debt collectors that I have been handed over to them after making payment with Collebhu, when I call them to find out what is going no one knows, I have been calling them and getting different stories, one of the consultant I spoke to yesterday said they will be sending me a paid up letter, no paid up letter. I do not understand the game they are playing.
