Toxic Product

It's with regret of using a great product that I write this report. I have been using the Colgate brand for as long as I can remember and I have not had any problem with it.However,this time around, I have had my trust squashed in the brand!I purchased a tube of Colgate toothpaste from a shop nearby and I must say- I am SHOCKED at the outcome after using the product! Upon first brushing in the morning, I had a very terrible burning sensation in my mouth and after several rinses with warm and cold water, my mouth finally cooled down, however I began to feel a numbing sensation following that. There was also a nasty/stale taste left in my mouth. I was in a panic because this was the first time that something like that happened. I was even more scared as I am pregnant and thought that if the toothpaste is off, it could harm the baby. I proceeded to tell my husband about what had happened and he tried the toothpaste as well. The same thing happened to him and his mouth ended up having that numb feeling for over half an hour!! What on earth is going on with this once trusted brand? Its been 2 weeks since I've complained & ave not had any response. So disappointed in this brand!
