Bad toothpaste

After using Colgate original toothpaste for over 30 years, we noticed a few months ago it tasted bad and leaves a foul aftertaste. We called the Colgate head office and spoke to Kathy Weber. She advised that they are aware of a problem as there had been changes that affected the taste. However the product was not withdrawn from the market. The customer liaison lady is Cornelia but she was on leave and would contact me the following Monday. No call received and when I called Kathy she advised that Cornelia would be back on Wednesday. Since then I have been unable to reach anybody at Colgate. Their call centre number supposedly for consumer contact at ***rings incessantly with no answer! The toothpaste is horrible, I have discarded about 8 tubes already.
