Turned complaint into compliment

Ordered 2 pizzas from Mr Delivery, the Da Terra and Nacho Libre, and was really looking forward to these pizzas after having just flown in to Johannesburg from Cape Town and seeing that Col'cacchio's had the best pizza in Mango's in-flight magazine. And at R156 and R134 a pizza, I was expecting great things.<br> <br> When the pizzas finally arrived I was bitterly disappointed. The pizzas were small and looked very unappetizing. The Da Terra especially so, it had no rocket infusion on it and no garlic chips sprinkled on it as stated, rather it was a dry pizza with tough biltong sprinkled sparingly on it and black avocado. It was actually inedible.<br> <br> I immediately called Col'cacchios and spoke to the manager. He listened and apologised and then said he would pay for Mr Delivery to bring us a new pizza. When it came, he had actually sent us 2 pizzas, the Moghul and a new Nacho Libre because I said that one tasted good. <br> <br> Look, I will never order a pizza from there again because they aren't good (terrible in fact), but the young manager successfully turned what would have been a Hello Peter complaint into a compliment purely for good customer service.
