Muslim Menu
Disappointed..... Loved your dishes that contained bacon/ham. Typical Italian food ingredients ! Do you realise that SA is still predominantly a Christian country? Muslims make up less than 2% of the South African population, and yet you make the other 98% follow their dietary requirements. I lived in an Islamic country for many years and put up with all their Muslim requirements (Halaal, alcohol, prayer calls, Ramadaan....) because I was living in THEIR country! Sadly I, my family and friends, will no longer be supporting you. Just as we no longer support Debonairs (**** bacon ie macon), Burger King (no bacon whopper). Thank goodness for Spur, Wimpy and the likes. I hope your parent company doesn't own them too, and change the menu. What about the selling of alcohol now? Have you banned that too? I hope a lot of people read this and take the same stance! Thanks

Dissappointed that you have not bothered to comment on my HelloPeter review dated 31st May'18 at the recent conversion of your Canal Walk branch to a completely Muslim Menu. I've since seen a report today on IOL that your Atholl and V&A Waterfront stores have likewise been completely converted to a Muslim Menu. What can a say?
Nonetheless, I've copy and pasted my HelloPeter review here.
I'm am also extremely delighted to report that I walked past your Canal Walk branch last Thursday the 26th June'18 and noticed less than a handfull of tables occupied. A far cry from pre-Muslim Menu days when you had to dodge customers coming in and out of the restaurant.
Best wishes and may these specific restaurants continue to fail.
