Get together ruined by bad service and poor food

<p>To whom it may concern</p> <p>A close friend of mine, whom I rarely see, and I finally managed to get together for lunch after being out of touch for a while.</p> <p>After much deliberation we decided to have lunch at your Claremont store. It was empty and we thought that we would be able to spend an enjoyable, quiet time catching up over some of your delicious breakfast.</p> <p>At first we were attended to by a waitress who was very friendly, Thandeka, she seated us and came to check up on our order. A few minutes later another waitress came to tend to us but her service was **********. The receipt listed the waitresses name as Candice (13) but she didn't introduce herself. We were confused as to why another person was now serving us.</p> <p>The second waitress was rude, abrupt and abrasive. She didn't greet us and banged the condiments on the table. Her poor attitude really upset us, I don't understand why you have people who have no inclination of good service working in your establishment.</p> <p>I for one will not return to your Claremont store, it makes me wonder whether this is your service standard elsewhere as well.</p> <p>To make matters worse the meal we ordered was of sub standard quality. The Abruzzo was undercooked, the veggies were tough and the brownie was hard. I could not even slice it using a s****. I couldn't finish my meal and left it, it was unpalatable.</p> <p>I am so disappointed by this experience, it marred an otherwise beautiful day.</p> <p> </p>
