Bluebird blues

Been to the colcacchio at bluebird shopping Centre twice since we heard with much excitement that the store was halaal.

We’ve had some of the vegetarian options at colcacchio before and we’re over the moon to hear of a halaal one.

Unfortunately the service and food standard was terribly disappointing.

On our first visit in May 2018 we sat in and ordered a pizza and pasta. The pizza brought through was not to our order and thus we needed to send it back. The pasta then turned up and was a watery mess. Totally lacked flavor and we had to send it back as well.

Ultimately they brought the correct pizza which we shared and decided against taking a replacement pasta.

Thought we would give them another shot today and placed a take away order for a Norms Pralina. Then drove from Midrand to Birnam to collect (the length we would drive to support this halaal franchise). Only to find upon arrival that the food was not even started as yet. Upon further investigation they found that the order was not placed. Of course we could get the telephone records that show I placed the order at 15:03 today 24 June. Sadly a horrible experience at this franchise and I really hope they can improve in future as we would really love to support this halaal franchise but at this rate would tell our friends and family to avoid them.
