Bad customer service.

Yesterday my husband and I went to Calcachio in Someset West for a pizza. The pizza I wanted to order had salami on it and I asked the waitress who served us to please chsnge the salami to bacon. She told me that they do not substitute. She turned the page to the front of the book and it said in very fine print that substitions would be charged for. I asked to see the manager. I told him that I don't eat salami and asked why I couldn't substitute and his answer was ' because you can't' and refered me to the fine writing and pointed and said...'now you see it' Not only did he embarrass me but he had no right to speak to me in that tone. The young waitress who was serving us even looked a bit embarresed. What he should have said to me was : I am terribly sorry but those are the rules, however you can always build your own pizza. We would have walked out right there and then, but unfortunately we already had our drinks. I suggested this to our waitress afterwards. We have often popped into Colcachios for a quick lunch when we have been in Someset West. But after yesterday I think that we will be exploring other options!
