NEVER EVER HAVE A HOME BUILT BY COHEN. THEY DONT KNOW WHAT THEY DOING
we were newly married and were looking forward to having our first home built by Cohen. this was back in 2014, and the worst decision i have ever made in my life.
from the start i had to go and fetch the tiles myself and bring it to site. then they still made a hash job out of the tiles which have major chips in them. the tiles on the barthroom walls are not level, the cupboards doors do not line up. have dampness, garage door is a problem. my electricity switch on the side of the house is actually situated in my neighbours board. so they can switch me off whenever they want. all the plug on the fall are coming off which is a electrical hazard. so will have to replace them myself. probably do a better job in fact. the fixtures in the bathroom are skew and tiles badly cut and the holes are bigger then the base of the fixers. my onsuite bathroom from shower to toilet has one big crack and has even cracked the toilet. paid additional money to have arial plug holes put in so dont have cables running on the side of the walls. they did not even put pipping in the walls so we can run the cables down. they will not refund us. R2000.00
their workmanship is absolutely shocking, i dont understand how they are still in business, i dont understand why banks are still dealing with these complete idiots who do not know how to be professional and do not know how to do a job right the first time
my snaglist was about 2 pages long and i am still waiting after all these for them to come and fix the poor quality
please people, do not believe what they say to you, they will sell you the heavens and deliver you hell. i will never ever have another house built as this has left me with a bad experience that i will never want to experience again.

Regarding your review, you bought your home in 2014. This was 7 years ago and according to our records all issues were resolved. It is highly insensible to complain about problems that occurred many years ago, problems that we resolved. Please provide us with your contact details so we can look into this matter. I do not think my review was insensible seeing that after all these years Cohen still have not come to resolve the issues. what i find to be insensible is that fact that Cohen Property Developments does not do a good. simple as that.
