Non compliant to food complaint and rude manageres

Having ordered a meal, being a chicken salad, I found that the chicken was impossible to chew and cut with a knife. I requested to speak to the manager, who I found most abrupt and argumentative regarding my complaint. She challenged me as to why I ate the salad and then complained of the chicken portions saying that she had tasted the chicken herself and found no fault with the same. However I noticed that there was no sign of any sort that showed she had tasted the chicken as one would have noticed her glossed lipstick or traces of food in her mouth. I then requested to return the food to me so that I could take it to the health department with my complaint. She refused to do so, but after my insisting she brought back 2 minute pieces of chicken, which were not the ones that I had returned, which was approximately 8 medium pieces. Having paid, R118 of the bill, I then left without any pieces of chicken nor proof of the money that I had paid. I do however wish that any people with similar complaints from this type of experience at any otherfood outlet can let the public know of any such experience.
